Denver, Colorado-based eToys Direct and BabyUniverse said today that the firms have completed their previously announced merger. The $276M deal was originally announced in March. The firms said that the combined company will be located in Denver, Colorado and will be renamed The Parent Company, if shareholders approve. eToys is an online e-commerce provider which operates eToys.com, KBToys.com, and the My Twinn doll company; BabyUniverse provide pregnancy, baby, and toddler products through BabyUniverse.com, DreamtimeBaby.com, PoshTots.com, and other web sites.
