Ping Teams On Security Software
Denver, Colorado-based Ping Identity, a publisher of Internet identity management software, revealed Monday that it is teamed with Wave Systems Corp., a developer of critical security applications for enterprises and government agencies. Ping said that the firms will deliver a combined solution that allows enterprise customers to achieve stronger user authentication security and single sign-on access to data and services on networks. Ping develops single-sign on software, used by companies to allow a single username and password to login to multiple applications. Ping said the deal will allow users to used PKI-based authentication in a single login to internal and external Web sites, data and services.
