Identity theft prevention firm LifeLock announced Wednesday that it has partnered with SouthPointe Digital Technologies to offer SouthPointe customers discounted LifeLock subscriptions. SouthPointe Digital is the provider of MyPersonalVault, a service that allows consumers to store digital documents, bank statements, and other personal information online. Neither the discounted rates nor the retail rates for either service were disclosed. LifeLock operates a service that helps establish and automatically renewing fraud alerts with the major credit bureaus, also removes member names from pre-approved credit card offers and junk-mail lists. LifeLock is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona and is venture backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Biltmore Ventures, and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
