Tendril Joins Zigbee Board
Lafayette, Colorado-based Tendril has joined the board of directors of industry group the ZigBee Alliance, the firm said today. The ZigBee Alliance is a group of companies developing solutions using the ZigBee wireless standard. Tendril said it was accepted as a Promoter level member of the alliance, as the first software company elected to the board. Tendril is developing software for managing wireless sensor networks, and is backed by Access Ventures, Appian Ventures, In-Q-Tel, and Vista Ventures.
