Altiris Looks Toward Vista
Salt Lake City, Utah-based Altiris is focusing in on the Windows Vista operating system, saying today that it is creating a comprehensive software management offering for the new OS. The firm said that it is working with Microsoft to support Microsoft's Business Desktop Deployment (BDD), a migration plan for Microsoft Windows; and is adding support for Vista 32-bit and 64-bit clients. Altiris said it expects its deployment products to support Vista by early Q1 of 2007.
