Arrow Electronics said this morning that it will acquire Englewood, Colorado-based Alternative Technology, a distributor of IT infrastructure and security products. Financial terms of the deal wre not disclosed, however, Arrow reported that Alternative is expected to have total 2006 sales of over $300M. Alternative has approximately 150 employees. Arrow said it expects the acquisition to complete in the next sixty days.
