Boise, Idaho-based PakSense, a developer of sensors for packaging, said this week that its new flat, temperature and time monitoring labels are now generally available. PakSense said that there is now mass availablility of its TXiT temperature and time monitoring labels, which are used by shippers to determine temperature specificationss have been breached. The firm's labels are used for quality and safety monitoring of food packaging or other products. The new product is encased in food-grade packaging, and used to track what happens in distribution of product, and are being sold to medical, frozen foods, fresh produce, wine, restaurants, poultry, meat, seafood, dairy, beverage and packaging and other industries.
