PakSense, a developer of temperature monitoring technology for the supply chain, has been acquired by St. Louis-based
Emerson, Emerson announced on Tuesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Emerson announced the acquisition, along with the acquisition of Locux Traxx, another supply chain temperature monitoring products, based in Florida. Emerson said it would combine PakSense and Locux Traxx into a new business aimed on cargo-based solutions. PakSense developed sensors used to monitor the condition of perishable goods through the supply chain.
