Level 3 Gets Win With YouTube
Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 is trumpeting a new win with user generated video site YouTube, saying this morning that Level 3 will provide high speed Internet Access to the popular site. Level 3 said that it will connect YouTube's data centers using its 10 GigE LAN PHY wavelength service, and provide high speed internet access across multiple 10 gigabit per second ports. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Level 3 operates one of the major Internet backbones.
