Avnet Targets Mobile System Integrators, VARs
Tempe, Arizona-based electronic distributor Avnet is targeting solutions providers, systems integratos, and value added resellers in the area of custom mobility. Avnet said this week that it has expanded its suite of services for partners in the area of enterprise mobility, including technical and sales support, custom solutions development, advanced integration, logistics, and marketing and demand generation. The new practice tackles the enterprise mobility market, the use of handhelds and wireless devices by companies to connect their workers into computing systems and for data collection. The enterprise mobility market is growing, particularly in the area of field services, government, healthcare, retail, and supply chain industries.
