Englewood, Colorado-based Adam Aircraft said today that it has raised $93M in a Series F funding for its advanced carbon composite aircraft. Funding came from new investor DCM, along with Mesirow Financial, W Capital Partners, D.E.Shaw Laminar Portfolios, and Acadia Woods Partners. Previous investors Goldman Sachs and Hunt Growth also participated, along with new European investors. Adam Aircraft said that it would use the new capital to accelerate certification of its A700 Adamjet. Adam is developing and manufacturing advanced carbon composite aircraft for the twin piston and very light jet (VLJ) markets, and is based at the Centennial Airport. The firm also maintains facilities in Pueblo and Ogden, Utah.
