Broomfield, Colorado-based Aircell is reporting today that it has been selected by fractional aircraft operator NetJets, to deploy high speed internet across more than 250 aircraft. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed, however, Aircell said that NetJets will install its systems across more than 250 of its midsize and large-cabin aircraft. The firm said it will start installations this month. NetJets has a fleet of more than 800 aircraft. Aircell operates a high speed Internet service which provides Wi-Fi service to private aircraft. Aircell said that NetJets is also planning to have all of its future fleet aircraft installed with high speed Internet.
