3M Buys Archon Technologies
3M has acquired Denver, Colorado-based Archon Technologies, a provider of enterprise software for motor vehicle agencies. Terms were not disclosed. 3M said this morning that it will strengthen the company's core solutions for motor vehicle agencies. Archon's software is used for vehicle registration, titling, drive licensing, professional licensing, and dealer credentialing. The firm employs 70 in Denver, with operating in Tucson. 3M said that Archon will remain headquartered in Denver after the acquisition.
