McData Signs Korean Customer
Broomfield, Colorado-based McData has inked Pohang Iron & Stell Co (POSCO), a Korean steel producer, as a customer. McData said that POSCO has tapped its Intrepid Fibre Channel directors to consolidate three data centers for the company. POSCO will use its directors, SAN router, and management software for its consolidation project. McData is a manufacturer of storage area networking equipment for the data storage industry.
