McDATA Serves Remote Offices
Broomfield, Colorado-based McDATA is looking to service remote offices with a new, bundled set of software and hardware targeted at remote office consolidation. The storage area networking equipment provider today said that its new Remote Office Consolidation (ROC) solution is a set of products and services for consolidating, centrally managing, and protecting remote office applications and data. The new solution combines Riverbed's WAN accelerator, replication software from Falconstor, and McData's switches and extension products, along with support and professional services.
