McDATA Qualifies With HDS
Broomfield Colorado-based McDATA said yesterday that its SAN routing products are now available through Hitachi Data Systems, a major enterprise storage OEM. McDATA's Eclipse 2650 SAN Router has been qualified for use with Hitachi's TagmaStore Unviersal Storage Platform, and is being resold by HDS for remote mirroring. McDATA said that its Eclipse product is being used by enterprise customers for business continuity and disaster recovery, content distribution, and iSCSI access to Fibre Channel storage.
