Vericept, Protiviti Ink Deal
Denver, Colorado-based Vericept, a provider of compliance software, and Protiviti, a provider of internal audit and risk consulting services, have signed a strategic alliance. The two companies report that Protiviti will license technology from Vericept for protecting their repuations, targeting mishandling of customer data. Protiviti will use Vericept to determine issues with confidential information, intellectual property, or other sensitive data. Vericept is a provider of compliance and content control solutions, targeted at compliance violations, information leaks, and inappropriate Internet activity.
