Salt Lake City, Utah-based Altiris released its financial results yesterday for its fiscal year 2005. The firm reported that it had total revenue of $45.6M for the fourth quarter, excluding deferred revenue of $7.2M from first quarter 2006. The firm said that it los $2.3M for the fourth quarter. The company said that it was required to defer the $7.2M in revenue due to issues with its delivery of software licenses, which it said had been manually processed and were not delivered on time. The company is estimating fiscal 2006 revenues will be in the range of $217 to $227M. The company's calendar year 2005 results totaled $187.6M. Altiris provides software used by enterprises for managing and deploying servers.
