Altiris, Now Part of Symantec, Expands Developer Program
IT management software developer Altiris Inc. has enhanced its Developer Program with the inclusion of its Developer Portal and a third-party price list, the company revealed Wednesday. Also, the firm's Developer Program now offers software- and hardware-compatibility testing and certification for Altiris developer partners through AppLabs quality-assurance services. Altiris said these additions will help streamline development and delivery of Altiris’ service-oriented management platform. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Altiris is owned by Symantec, a developer of security and infrastructure software.
