PENTAX Rolls Out New Compact Digital Cameras
Golden Colorado-based PENTAX Imaging rolled out two new compact digital cameras today, ahead of CES. The company announced the Option A10 and Option E10 cameras, two compact digital cameras focused on the consumer market. The A10 is an 8.0 megapixel CCD-based device with 3x optical zoom, with the Option E10 providing 6.0 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom. PENTAX said that the Optio A10 includes shake reduction technology. The A10 and E10 both also provide digital zoom capability to 12x, and use SD media storage. The Optio A10 lists for $350, with the E10 coing in at under $200.
