Zayo Expands In UK

Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo Group is expanding its long haul fiber network in the UK, the company said on Friday, saying it is extending and upgrading a new, long haul fiber ring across Northern England. Zayo said the ring will stretch 500 kilometers, and also included access to subsea cable crossings in both the Irish and North Seas. Zayo did not say how much it is investing in the expansion, which it says should be complete in the next 12 months.
