Chipotle Exec Heads To Outsourcer TaskUs

Mike Ferguson, most recently Head of People Support at Denver's Chipotle, has taken the lead human resource role at fast growing back office outsourcer TaskUs. According to TaskUs, which is based in California but recently opened up a new office Albuquerque, Mike Ferguson has become the company's firsst Chief People Officer, based out of Denver. Ferguson was most recently Head of People Support at Chipotle Mexican Grill, which he spent the last 12 years at. TaskUs said that at Chipotle, Ferguson build an organization that now has over 70,000 employees across five countries. Ferguson will be based out of Denver. TaskUs, which is backed by private equity investor Blackstone, has a similar employee management challenge; in 2017, the company passed up more than 8,000 employees with significant operations in the Philippines, Santa Monica, Texas, and New Mexico. TaskUs said in August that it hopes to hire 700 in Albuquerque, the newest office for the fast growing company.
