Eggplant Offers Up Two New, Free, Products
Boulder-based Eggplant, which develops testing software, has launched two new, free, products for the open source market. According to Eggplant, it has released Eggplant Performance for JMeter, a version of its load testing product, specifically for JMeter Test Plans, and Eggplantium, a tool to run Selenium WebDriver scripts against mobile devices. Eggplant said it hopes its products will help the communities around JMeter and Selenium accelerate their test automation efforts and keep up with "DevOps". Eggplant is owned by private equity firm The Carlyle Group; the company's testing tools are used to test and analyze software applications.
