OverWatchID Takes $1.2M For Cybersecurity Platform

Denver-based OverWatchID, which is developing a cybersecurity platform focused around converged identity, has raised $1.2M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by the Rockies Venture Club, and also included the Rockies Venture Fund, 3 Lines Venture Fund and Darkfield Accelerator. OverWatchID, led by CEO Andy Funk, said its product will go towards expansion, customer acquisition, and also to grow its sales and marketing teams. The company's products are aimed at identity management, and in particular addressing the Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Access Management (IAM), Cloud Access Security Brokerage (CASB), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) areas.
