ON Semiconductor Expands Operations In New York State

Phoenix-based semiconductor manufacturer ON Semiconductor says it is expanding its operations in New York State, with a expansion at a manufacturing facility in Rochester. According to ON Semiconductor, its site there develops and manufactures image sensor devices for commercial, industrial and professional imaging applications, including machine vision, surveillance, traffic monitoring, medical and scientific imaging, and photography. The company did not say how much of an expansion is occurring at the 4.2 acre site, here it says it has over 260,000 square feet of building space.
