TeamSnap Backs Positive Coaching Group's Award

Boulder-based TeamSnap is again helping to encourage "positive coaching" in sports, by backing an award from the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). According to TeamSnap, it is presenting the 2018 Double-Goal Coach Award, an annual award recognizes 50 youth and high school sports coaches from across the United States. The Positive Coaching Alliance provides training to coaches to encourage such traits as hard work, respect, fair and fair play--and in particular, positive encouragement of athletes--pointing out that youth sports coaches have an "incredibly influential" impact on youth, with youth spending more time with their coaches than anyone else outside of the home environment. TeamSnap is led by CEO Dave Dupont.
