Overstock.com Launches Into ICOs
Salt Lake City-based e-commerce firm Overstock.com has launched itself into the new initial coin offering (ICO) market, and said on Tuesday that it will sell 500 million digital tokens through its own ICO. The company--an early adopter of Bitcoin--said the ICO will go to fund a subsidiary which will allow companies to trade digital tokens. Initial coin offerings (ICOs) use the technical basis of Bitcoin, called Blockchain, to help companies raise money.
