Zayo Swaps CFO, Names Former Envysion Founder Steinfort To Role

Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo Group said late Monday that it has appointed Matt Steinfort as its new Chief Financial Officer, replacing existing CFO Ken desGarennes. desGarennes has been CFO at Zayo for the last ten years, and according to Zayo is retiring. Steinfort was most recently CEO of Envysion, where he had been for 10 years, and he also has served at ICG Communications and Level 3 Communications, in addition to time at Bain & Company and Cambridge Technology Partners. Steinfort had quietly joined Zayo last year, in November of 2016, serving as executive vice president, Corporate Strategy, Development, & Administration for Zayo.
