Carvana Finally Comes To Home Market, Phoenix

Phoenix-based online car seller Carvana announced this morning that it has finally started offering up its services in its home market, Phoenix. Carvana--which already is in 32 other markets--has been based in Phoenix since it was started five years ago, and despite its recent IPO, hadn't yet offered up its online car selling business in town. The company says it now has nearly 500 employees, almost all of them in Phoenix, where they can finally find and purchase a car online. Carvana says it now has nearly 7,000 vehicles available through its website. Carava is led by CEO and founder Ernie Garcia.
