Zetta Venture Partners Names New Partner
Venture investment fund Zetta Venture Partners--which has been one of the most active investors in Utah's recent crops of startups--has named former VMware vice president and General Manager Jocelyn Goldfein as a partner at the company, the firm said on Tuesday. Zetta has made investments in Domo, InsideSales, and EventBoard, and recently added Omniture founder Josh James as a partner at the company. Goldfein was head of VMware's Desktop Business Unit, and also has served at Facebook and has been an angel investor. Zetta has $160M under management, and is in its first fund, whcih is focused on enterprise software. The venture investor's highest profile portfolio companies are both unicorns, and both based in Utah -- Domo and InsideSales. Goldfein is based in Silicon Valley.
