Sarcos Robotics Taps Retired Admiral, General For Advisory Board

Salt Lake City, Utah- and Bellevue, Washington-based military robotics developer Sarcos Robotics has named two retired military leaders to its advisory board, the company said this morning. Sarcos said it as named both Admiral Eric T. Olson, U.S. Navy (Ret.) and General Paul F. Gorman, U.S. Army (Ret.) to its Advisory Board. Admiral Olson was head of the United States Special Operations Command, and was a Navy SEAL. Gorman was most recently Commander in Chief, United States Southern Command (USCINCSO). Sarcos is creating "exoskeleton" robots -- think Iron Man or Call of Duty--for both military and civilian use.
