Liberty Global Acquires Polish Cable Operator

Denver-based Liberty Global said on Tuesday afternoon that it has acquired Multimedia Polska, which it says is the third largest cable operator in Poland. The company said it pay approximately $760M for Multimedia Polska. Liberty Global said the acquisition will "significantly increase" its scale in Poland.
