MyHeritage Boosts Historical Records With Collection From Finland

Lehi, Utah- and Tel Aviv, Israel-based MyHeritage, which operates an online site focused on family history, says it has bolstered its historical records with what it says is the "most significant" collection of Finnish historical records every published online. The company said it digitized 33 million records from between 1657 and 1950, in conjunction with the National Archives Service of Finland. MyHeritage says it is the first organization which has indexed the collection of historical records in that collection.
