Zayo Gets Major Fiber-To-The-Tower Win

Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo Group has scored what it a says it is its largest, mobile infrastructure contract to date, as part of a fiber-to-the-tower (FTT) win with an un-named customer. Zayo said it will upgrade and expand an existing, customer FTT network, to reach more than 1,800 cell sites across 26 markets in the U.S. Financial impact of the win were not announced. Zayo said it will use its existing dark FTT network in 20 of those markets. Zayo said the new network will expand its reach to an estimated 10,000 cell sites nationwide.
