CoreSite Gets HIPAA Compliance Validation

Denver-based data center provider CoreSite Realty says it has met the strict requirements for certification under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), at sixteen of its multi-tenant data centers. According to the company, the validation assures its healthcare provider customers and others that it meets high standards of data security, and provides a secure environment for sensitive and confidential data. The company did not say which HIPAA certification agency performed the work for the company.
