Baker Picks Up $1.6M For Marijuana Software

Denver-based Baker, which sits at the strange intersection of Colorado's high tech startup and legal marijuana industries, disclosed today that it has raised $1.6M in seed funding, for its efforts to develops software to help marijuana dispensaries run their businesses. The startup, led by Joel Milton, says the funding came from Micahel Lazerow (Buddy Media), and also included Base Ventures, XG Ventures, 500 Startups, Poseidon Asset Management, plus the founders of Superfly. Baker develops customer relationship management software specifically for marijuana dispensaries. More information »
