Sling Founder Blake Krikorian Passes Away
Blake Krikorian who founded Sling Media, the startup which has now become Denver-based streaming cable service Sling, has died at the age of 48, according to reports. Krikorian--who lived in Silicon Valley--apparently died while surfing, of a heart attack. Krikorian sold Sling Media--then known for its Slingbox device--to Echostar back in 2007. Krikorian only stuck around a short while at Echostar, leaving the company in 2009, after his full earn out.
