eBags Reports Strong Sales During Amazon Prime Day

Denver-based online retailer eBags said this morning it saw record, two-day sales for the company during Amazon Prime day, with 25 percent more sales volume than the next, highest two-day period in the quarter. The company--which made an unusual move to link itself with Amazon.com's second annual sales holiday event--said it saw an increase in sales of luggage (increase of 30%), backpacks (29%) and accessories (16%). eBags sells its product both through its own, e-commerce site, as well as a third party marketplace provider on Amazon.com.
