Zayo Group Shuffles COO, As Co-Founder Erickson Leaves

Boulder, Colorado-based Zayo Group is seeing a big shuffle in its executive ranks, saying this morning that COO and co-founder Matt Erickson is leaving the company in July, and will be replaced by current co-COO Chris Morley. According to Zayo, Erickson is leaving on his own accord, for "personal reasons", and will leave in late July. Morley has been overseeing Zayo's Dark Fiber Solutions, Network Connectivity, and Cloud and Colo business segments, and will now take over global sales, marketing, and customer service functions from Erickson. Zayo Group is a major provider of fiber bandwidth, colocation, and other related infrastructure services. The company was co-founded by Dan Caruso and Matt Erickson.
