Salt Lake Comic Con, Led By Daz3D Vets, Buys Stake In Salt Lake Gaming Con

Dan Farr Productions, the owner of the Salt Lake Comic Con, said this morning that it has taken a fifty percent stake in another, local gamer-focused conference, Salt Lake Gaming Con. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. The companies said that Salt Lake Gaming Con saw more than 15,000 gamers during its first three-day event. Dan Farr and Bryan Brandenburg, the co-founders of Salt Lake Comic Con, were the founders of Daz 3D, the 3D software company. Farr and Brandenberg founded Salt Lake Comic Con in 2013.
