LANDESK Buys AppSense

Salt Lake City-based LANDESK has acquired Sunnyvale, California-based user profile management software developer AppSense, LANDESK said Monday, to help add advanced endpoint protection capabilities to its portfolio. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. AppSense was founded in 1999, and was backed by Goldman Sachs. LANDESK is led by Steve Daly, and backed by private equity investor Thoma Bravo.
