EnergySolutions Sells Unit To UK Company

Salt Lake City-based EnergySolutions, a provider of nuclear remediation services and technology, said this morning that it has sold its Projects, Products and Technology business to UK-based WS Atkins plc. EnergySolutions said WS Atkins will pay the company $318M, and also hire approximately 650 of its employees as part of the deal. EnergySolutions is led by David Lockwood.
