Boombox Gets $5.5M For Interactive Tools
Lehi, Utah-based Boombox has raised $5.5M in a Series A funding, and launched a new set of tools aimed at publishers and brands, the company said Thursday. According to Movement Ventures, the parent company behind Boombox, the funding round was led by Pelion Venture Prtners, and also included Kickstart Seed Fund, Peterson Partners, and angels Jeremy Andrus (Skullcandy) and Aaron Skonnard (Pluralsight). Movement Ventures' Boombox set of tools includes products to create quizzes, polls, and interactive lists, and embed them on their site and posts. The company said those tools help to increase page views and generate leads for customers. Movement Ventures is the creator of the Qzzr and Pollcaster software products.
