Avnet Buys Orchestra Service GmbH

Phoenix-based Avnet has acquired German IT distributor Orchestra Service GmbH, the company said this morning, to bolster its storage efforts in the EMEA. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Orchestra is based in Munich, Germany, and operates an IT distribution and services company focused on EMC storage products. Orchestra was founded in 1998, and had revenues of approximately $95M in the 2014 calendar year.
