MountainWest Capital Network Publishes Utah Growth List

The MountainWest Capital Network, an industry group which promotes the growth of the technology and business industry in Utah, has published its Utah 100, its list of the 100 or so companies who are among the fastest growing companies in the state. The list of companies were published on Wednesday, with the group planning to announce its rankings at a program on November 3rd. MWCN said it had a record number of nominations for the list this year. The MWCN lists helps fill a void in helping people to identify the up and coming companies and people in the industry in Utah, left since the disappearance of the Signal Peak V100 list -- last released in 2012, previously known as the vSpring v100. The vSpring list--although focused more on the people behind the companies, rather than companies themselves--was a reliable barometer of the most promising entrepreneurs, executives, and companies in Utah's technology market. MWCN's list includes a far broader list of companies than technology, with food, retail, service, and many other industries represented on the rankings.
