Lifelock Teams With PTA On Tool For Parents
Tempe, Arizona-based identity theft protection service LifeLock has teamed with the National PTA, the nonprofit which manages parent teacher associations, on an outreach to parents. According to the two, they have launched a new resource called The Smart Talk, which helps parents have a conversation with their children on how best to use technology and to set ground rules on technology use. The online tool lets kids and parents walk through a number of questions and conversations about setting ground rules on technology use, and sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and so on -- and prints out an agreement between parents and kids they can post on their refrigerator or elsewhere to remind those kids about those limits.
