Zayo Launches New Live Video Service

Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo Group is looking to better service the broadcast, production, and video market, with a new service, the company said today. Zayo said its new Live Video service will offer up point-to-point links for live video, aimed at the broadcast, production, video distribution, sports and live event industries, which will help support long haul video delivery and short term, live video events. Zayo said that the National Basketball Association (NBA) is one of the customers using its video network transport live broadcast and video feeds. The NBA is apparently using the company's network for all of its games.
