Techstars Tops $534M Invested In Companies In 2014

Need a reason to join one of Boulder-based Techstars accelerator programs? How about $534M in investments? The accelerator operator said today that its portfolio companies received that stunning amount of venture capital investments in just 2014. Techstars said the new investments bring the total invested in its portfolio companies to well over $1 billion, with a total market cap of over $2.5 billion for its portfolio. Techstars said it now has 513 companies in its portfolio. More importantly, the group said it has now seen 59 exits across its system.
