MapQuest Courts Amazon Users With Roadside Assistance Offer
Denver-based MapQuest is hoping to attract customers of Amazon.com to the company's new roadside assistance service, saying today that it is offering up $50 credits for user roadside service requests via its app. MapQuest--which is offering up the roadside assistance via a link with Urgent.ly--said the deal will only be available from the Amazon App Store. MapQuest said its roadside assistance offers up lockout service, jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and towing.
