Tendril Raises $20M From SunPower

Boulder-based Tendril, the developer of software for monitoring and understanding energy usage, has raised $20M in a funding round from solar power installer Sunpower, as part of a strategic alliance. According to the two, SunPower will license Tendril's Energy Service Management (ESM) Platform, to help power a new set of smart energy applications for SunPower. Tendril is led by Adrian Tuck. Sunpower is a provider of solar design, manufacturing, and installation of photovoltaic solar panels. More information »
